It's an end of an era.

I got a haircut.

Okay, I've had it fer nearly a week.

Okay, I didn't get a haircut *that* long ago, last time it was during january this year.
Before that, however, I hadn't go my hair cut since I was, like, 12 or 13- I IS NOT JOKING!!

So... sheah. I got one. For quite some time now, for the past few years I guess, I've maintained a Marcia Brady-esque mane of hair. Very long, very straight, very "teenage gal of the early 70s".

I was originally gonna get a perm and some layers... really lash out and get all Stevie Nicks on yo ass. Y'know, the style that she had in the 80s? Ch'yah, I was actual fair dinkum about getting that. But people were all like, "reconsider..." and I had a good think about it and realised that although it would be good fun to have it takes tonnes of maintanance, takes *years* to properly grow out and is very unversitile, as I think it'll clash with everything I wear (summer's just around the corner, and I'll be wearing a lot of 60s dresses. 80s perm + 1960s getup...? I dunno...). So, um. yeah.

Anyway, it's short. Okay, not *short* short... it's past my armpits by a little bit- if that makes sense, heh. ;3 That's short for me!! I was crapping bricks at first, being all worried, "eeeh, what if they cut off too much???!" O_O But I actually don't mind too much. And I like the fringe, too. A lot. It's not like I hated my hair beforehand, but I think I needed a minor change, y'know?
